| Reports Premier League Park United 1-4 Carrigaline United Saturday 22nd Sept
The under 16 Premier team got the season off to a great start with a comprehensive away win at Park United in Mitchelstown. Despite a shaky start to this game Carrigaline settled with two quick fire goals just before half time. The first came when Sean Conlon planted his header high into the roof net 5 minutes before half time. Sean had been picked out by Simon Holland's pinpoint cross. The second came when Sean Conlon's corner on the left was headed home by Shane O'Halloran from close range. The goal that finally sealed the victory came 15 minutes from the end; new signing Dean Kelly dribbled past two Park defenders into the penalty area where he was brought down for a penalty. Dean dusted himself down and coolly stroked home the resultant kick. The fourth came when substitute Martin O'Callaghan ran on to Simon Holland's through ball and slipped the ball past a stranded Park goalkeeper.

Premier League Riverstwn 0-3 Carrigaline United Sunday 7th Oct The Premier U/16 produced a fine performance when they over powered Riverstown 3-0. This is the best the team has played for a long time and shows their determination to go one better than last year' runners up position in the League. As in the previous game two goals just before half time sealed the game in Carrigaline's favour. Carrigaline grabbed the lead when Shane O'Halloran was left with the easiest of chances when he was picked out by Simon Holland's cross to score from close range. Simon Holland scored the second just on half time. It was a great team goal; have won the ball back in midfield a great pass from Dave Drake found Liam O'Regan breaking forward from defence whose cross was meet my Simon sliding in at the far post to score. The third and final goal was a long time coming but it was worth waiting for. Dave Spillane's long ball out of defence put Shane O'Halloran through on goal, with everyone expecting him to dribble past the keeper he instead lift the ball coolly over the keepers head and the ball rolled gently into the unguarded net. Carrigaline were never under threat in this game and look forward to their next game, which pits them against rivals Douglas Hall in the National Cup competition.

Premier League Carrigaline United 4- 0 Park United Sunday 4th November Carrigaline United U/16 Premier team continued their impressive start to the season with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Park United at Ballea Park on Sunday. The team started in determined fashion and created a host of good chances, but with no luck in front of goal and a Park United keeper in fine form the first goal was a long time coming. Simon Holland was the scorer when his shot from the edge of the area found the bottom corner 10 minutes before half time.
It was not until 15 minutes into the second half that the second arrived when a Park defender poked the ball beyond his keeper after good play by Dave Drake. This seemed to knock the heart of a despondent Park outfit. The third was scored by Neil O'Donovan, who was making a welcome return from a serious knee injury. Wayne Bruton scored the fourth having earlier stuck the crossbar twice. Overall in was a good performance by the team
