Weekend Results Nov 20/21st: Juniors Denied League Cup
Hard luck to the MSL Junior A team that suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at Turner’s Cross yesterday in the final of the Beamish League Cup against Everton.
The outstanding result of the weekend must go to the Youth Premier side that recorded an impressive 3-0 win away at Avondale. This result moves Carrig into second place in the division, behind leaders Kilreen Celtic: YOUTH LEAGUE TABLES.
This week we are also featuring a match report on the Under-14 girls’ very good performance against Douglas Hall on Saturday, see the link in the results section below.
Finally, we were hoping to bring you more good news from across the big pond as we did this time last year. CUAFC’s Laura Thompson has been conquering all before her in the world of U.S. College soccer this season too. Unfortunately though her team lost out in the national final yesterday CLICK HERE. Comiserations Tomo but congrats on what is still a great achievement.

Beamish Junior League Cup Final: Turner’s Cross - Sunday Morning at 11.00am
Carrigaline United ‘A’ Juniors will face Everton in the final of the Beamish Junior League Cup at Turner’s Cross this Sunday November 21st. Kick-off is at 11am.
Lenny Walker and Tony O’Regan’s side started off the season with two good wins against Everton and Blarney back in August to make it out of the group stage into the quarter final.
They then travelled to Rockmount and came away with an impressive 3-0 victory to advance to the semi-final.
In the semi they recorded another good away win, this time 2-0 at Ringmahon.
